Calculate your BMI
How do we know the ideal weight by height?
Ideal weight by length
Ideal human weight is associated with several factors, including age, gender, body mass index and waist circumference.
To determine the ideal weight of an individual, height and weight must be calculated together, through the BMI measurement formula, either manually or by using the ideal weight calculation program according to the length available in several applications.
The ideal BMI for men is 22, and the ideal BMI for women is 21.
Ideal weight by length
The method of calculating the ideal weight by length
To determine the optimal weight by height, BMI is calculated according to the following equation:
BMI = weight in kg / (length in meters x length in meters)
You can use this tool to find out your BMI
If the BMI is between 18.5 and 25, this indicates that the individual's weight is ideal.
If your BMI is less than 18.5, this indicates thinness.
If it is between 25 and 29.9, it means minor obesity.
If the BMI exceeds 40, it indicates obesity.
These calculations do not apply to athletes.
